Kharkiv regional state administration together with the Radmir Expohall PEC (Presentation Exhibition Center) goes on developing the famous historical traditions of Kharkivshchina, as the commercial center of Slobozhanshchina. The Great Slobozhanskaya Fair takes place every year for the second time. Radmir Center has become of the place of the fair.
Grand opening of the fair took part on the 20 of September. The governor of Kharkiv region Arsen Borisovich Avakova addressed the participants, guests and organizers of the fair. Tuluzov Igor Georgeevich, the General Director of «Radmir-Center» CJSC, congratulated all those present on the beginning of the fair work.
Within the limits of the Great Slobozhanskaya Fair were held:

In honour of the record harvest of 2008 the festival ceremony of inauguration of region’s agricultural workers by Kharkiv region administration was hold.
Kharkiv and Kharkiv region’s enterprises production was represented at the fair. The guests from Kursck, from the West Ukraine with traditional products from sheepskin attended the fair.
Haggles of agricultural products were carried out at the fair. Vegetables and fruit, meat and milk production; bakery and confectionery, honey, soft drinks and sugar were presented. As well as non-production wares of national consumption: perfumery and pharmaceutical means; sewing and knit works, clothes, shoes, plastic for home; household goods, domestic technics, compositions of flowers.
The souvenirs, made by masters from all Ukraine, were represented at the fair.
The visitors of the fair could enjoy the cultural programme. Ukrainian songs, dances, round dance and etc. could make the guests of the fair happy.
